Role Overview
Rexplore Research Labs is seeking motivated and ambitious Business Development Interns to join our team and support the growth of new AI-driven go-to-market solutions designed to empower businesses across Africa. As a Business Development Intern, you will support activities that help introduce our emerging platform to targeted markets, identify potential business opportunities, engage prospective partners and customers, and help refine our go-to-market approach. You will work closely with our BD and product teams, gaining hands-on experience in strategic planning, outreach execution, and market research.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify prospective businesses and market segments
- Support outreach and engagement through email, social platforms, and other channels
- Assist in preparing value-focused messaging and presentations
- Help maintain CRM data and track lead pipelines
- Collaborate on strategic initiatives to test and refine go-to-market approaches
- Learn from cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, research-driven environment
Requirements
- Curious, proactive, and results-oriented individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think strategically and execute tasks with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a start-up environment with evolving priorities
- Interest in technology, AI, and business growth strategies
- Prior experience in outreach, research, or customer engagement is a plus but not required
